Though the day was rainy, clouds parted just in time for an evening of fun and celebration at The Institute of Contemporary Art. The Museum’s first floor boasts stunning views of the bustling Boston Harbor both indoors and on the outdoor plaza. Enclosed in the invitation, a cute definition card instructed guests to dress “Harborside Chic” and had guests appropriately donned to mingle at one of the city’s most idyllic harbor front venues.
On the Museum’s outdoor plaza, decor was contemporary and nautical with crisp white and navy printed linens, throw pillows and a custom paneled bar. Lime green vases with creative floral arrangements anchored each guest table while also providing a pop of color.
Assorted gaming tables provided casino competition throughout the night – in keeping with the theme, the top three “high rollers” of the night won lobster dinners from James Hook & Co. Yum!
Wolfgang Puck provided the custom menu for the evening, complete with summertime favorites and comfort food must-haves like adorable mason jar pies! A flip-book photo station complete with nautical themed props and custom signage was the party hit with the crowd, while local favorites – The World Premiere Band – rounded out the evening’s entertainment. The floor was filled with guests dancing the night away.
