Back Bay Gem: Avila
Look at that dessert – yum! In keeping with the CE “Restaurant Week” Vic ventured to Avila for to make sure it was up to snuff for our fabulous clients!
The food is wonderful! Everything is so flavorful and delicious and they have a HUGE wine list that allows them to find the perfect pairing for any dish. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive (but not in an overbearing or annoying way) and she made great recommendations. The restaurant itself manages to feel intimate despite the floor to ceiling windows revealing the super busy intersection right outside (eek!). The bar or banquette seating in the far corner would be a great place to grab a quick bite after work. There is also bar-style seating in front of the open kitchen where you can enjoy watching your meal come together. There is not a single thing that we ate that I wouldn’t recommend and I can’t wait to go back and try everything else! If you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal without the fuss and grandeur of some of Boston’s other high-end restaurants, Avila is the place to try!
That certainly makes the rest of us want to try it out!
