CE Turns 15 Partners

Founded in March of 2000, Corinthian Events has been planning memorable events in Boston and New England for 15 years.  Of course, in true CE fashion, we had to celebrate!

Last weekend friends, family and the CE team headed down to the Hotel Viking in Newport, RI for an epic bash hosted by Courtney, Jill and Mary.  Decked out in our finest duds, we danced, toasted and reminisced!

Following dinner, we ushered the whole party into another room for a champagne toast and a surprise! Courtney, Jill and Mary had no idea that the CE team had been working with friends, family, vendors and clients to put together a 15th anniversary video.  There were plenty of laughs (and tears!) as people from CE’s past and present expressed their congratulations.

After a touching tribute, it was back to the ballroom for more dancing and fun in the photo booth.  With such a fun team, it’s a wonder we get any work done!

Our Day on Instagram – The CE Summer Outing

Thursday, September 11th, 2014

We spend all summer planning your summer outings, so it seems only fair that we get one day to forget about work and celebrate the season!  Last month, Corinthian Events took to the streets and explored some of our favorite parts of Boston before enjoying a delicious dinner at Sweet Cheeks.  From donuts and champagne on the way to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to a segway tour of Boston’s waterfront (with only one minor accident!), we basked in the 90 degree weather and learned bits of trivia (courtesy of our in house historian, Jill) about our beloved city.  Of course, we took to Instagram to document our fantastic day and share our fun.  Here’s our day on Instagram!

Two New Faces at Corinthian Events

Friday, April 18th, 2014

Event Planners Massachusetts New Hires

We are thrilled to introduce you to our two newest team members – Colleen and Dillon!  Please give them a warm CE welcome!

Colleen Lemons

Colleen Lemons became part of the Corinthian Events team in December 2013, shortly after graduating from the University of Kansas in 2011 with a degree in Journalism and History of Art. She was born and raised in Texas, and while she’s finally acclimated to Boston’s temperatures, she still hasn’t lost her southern charm and hospitality. Colleen came to Corinthian Events with experience in meeting and conference management in the healthcare industry, and she loves to work on the set up and flow of events. She is excellent on-site, and she is a natural at building relationships with both our clients and vendors. Beyond the office, Colleen is passionate about art – Van Gogh’s Starry Night is her favorite – and loves to explore, dream about property renovation, and facetime with her niece, Ava.

Dillon Poole

After working as freelance staff at a number of Corinthian Events programs, Dillon Poole signed on fulltime as a Production and Technical Assistant in March 2014. He grew up in Pennsylvania, and graduated from Emerson College in 2012 with a degree in Film Production. Dillon has a strong background in A/V – having worked as a videographer, editor, and crew member – and he is all about event visuals, especially lighting and props. Dillon doesn’t just bring film and production knowledge to the team; clients love his attention to detail, can-do attitude, and excellent customer service. Outside of Corinthian Events, Dillon continues his freelance film work and is currently working on a documentary about honesty in the world of medical error and malpractice. In his remaining free time, Dillon studies Aikido and loves fly fishing, science fiction, and traveling.
