CE Turns 15 Partners

Founded in March of 2000, Corinthian Events has been planning memorable events in Boston and New England for 15 years.  Of course, in true CE fashion, we had to celebrate!

Last weekend friends, family and the CE team headed down to the Hotel Viking in Newport, RI for an epic bash hosted by Courtney, Jill and Mary.  Decked out in our finest duds, we danced, toasted and reminisced!

Following dinner, we ushered the whole party into another room for a champagne toast and a surprise! Courtney, Jill and Mary had no idea that the CE team had been working with friends, family, vendors and clients to put together a 15th anniversary video.  There were plenty of laughs (and tears!) as people from CE’s past and present expressed their congratulations.

After a touching tribute, it was back to the ballroom for more dancing and fun in the photo booth.  With such a fun team, it’s a wonder we get any work done!

New Team Members

You may have noticed there are a couple of new faces around 109 Kingston Street these days.  With the addition of three new team members, our office is running 15 strong (the biggest we’ve ever been!). Please give a warm CE welcome to Micha, Breanne and Natalie!

New Additions

Micha Brooks, Senior Account Manager

Scottish native Micha Brooks joined Corinthian Events in January of 2015 with a wealth of event and hospitality management experience under her belt.  Micha began her career in the United Kingdom, working with a golf event staging company, before venturing to the U.S. where she worked as the Director of Account Management at another Boston DMC.  Micha is a great multitasker, has fantastic organizational skills, and always comes prepared with a positive and up-beat attitude!  Her favorite parts of event planning are getting to know the clients and seeing the event come together.  In her spare time, Micha enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Lucy and Bella.  She also loves trying cuisines from all over the world and spending days at the beach or on the golf course.

New Additions

Breanne M. Timura, Castle Venue Manager and Account Manager

Breanne Timura joined the Corinthian Events family in September 2014 for a rather unique position – to manage the Castle at Park Plaza, a historic special event venue located in Boston’s Back Bay. Refer to her as Queen of the Castle or the Castle Protector, she is in charge of all castle-related inquiries. Her dual role also charges her with account management and event planning alongside the rest of the Corinthian Events team.  Prior to Corinthian Events, Breanne organized on-campus and regional events for alumni at her alma mater, Connecticut College while residing in Mystic, CT (Mystic Pizza anyone?  A good movie, but the pizza… not so much!).  When she’s not living the ‘royal life’ at CE, Breanne can be found experimenting in her kitchen, discovering new craft beer and bourbon, or sweating it out at the gym!

New Additions

Natalie Prentiss, Program Assistant

After interning for Corinthian Events in the fall of 2014, Natalie Prentiss became a full time member of the CE team in January 2015.  A Westfield State University graduate, Natalie hails from Waltham, MA and has had a passion for event planning since high school.  In the office, Natalie wears many hats.  From calling vendors to helping with proposals, Natalie assists with many of the small details that ensure all of our events go off without a hitch.  A self-proclaimed “neat freak”, Natalie loves to organize and uses these skills to keep the office and our supplies immaculate.  Outside of the office, Natalie enjoys athletic activities like water skiing and snowboarding, dreaming about sky diving, and spending time with her family down the Cape!
