On the Hunt

Teams competed to paint with watercolors the iconic Motif #1, the most painted building in the country.
Last week, we designed and executed the best kind of summer outing, one filled with fun, camaraderie and an afternoon outside – a scavenger hunt! The playground for the day was the North Shore coastal town of Rockport, where guests were required to explore the history, sights and culture of the town center while competing for points.
Guests were divided into twenty teams and armed with a backpack, a hunt booklet, a mascot and LOTS of team spirit. Teams then set to work for a three hour exploration of the town. Posed with three types of questions: things to photograph, things to collect and things to do, the challenge was to use their time efficiently and their minds creatively.

Teams used the tools found in their backpacks (eye patches and temporary tattoos) to mimic pirates outside the Peg Leg Inn.
The second portion to the challenge was a race against the clock. Teams were advised to make a stop at Front Beach to complete a task – to put up a tent. Corinthian Events staff was armed and ready with stopwatches and tents to see which team could create the structure fastest! Our staff was also stationed at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, where teams went head to head in elimination beach volleyball for Scavenger Hunt bonus points.
Inflatable team mascots were photographed all over town!
Guests ended at the Rockport Art Association where dinner and drinks were served while Corinthian Events staff busily tallied the scores. Congratulations to the Hunter Green team who came in first place – we can’t wait til tonight for the next hunt!
