The Boston Harbor Regatta

What does summer mean to you?  A sailing regatta?  An island retreat?  A classic lobster lunch?  Last week we rolled all of these elements together to create an idyllic summer outing for one of our awesome corporate clients.  They brought the enthusiastic, friendly-yet-competitive attitudes, while we did the rest!

After gathering for coffee, breakfast and a regatta briefing it was off to the starting line for a race around the Boston Harbor to Spectacle Island.  After a disqualification (due to a few some questionable moves by the purple team), the brown team pulled into the finish first, capturing the regatta win!

The reward?  A classic lobster bake with all the fixin’s… not to mention a bit more “casual” competition with bocce, ladder ball and frisbee!

Just 20 minutes from Boston, Spectacle Island is the perfect local get-a-way that feels far-a-way for your summer outing.   It’s the ultimate in summer outing fun!

Smooth Sailing

Corinthian Events assisted the Boston Sailing Center on Lewis Wharf in creating an open house event to showcase their great event space on the top of their river boat and their great fleet of boats, perfect for a corporate outing or team building event. It was a great night on the water. Guests were able to go for a sail boat ride on the harbor as well as enjoying great food and drink while enjoying a fabulous view!
