Congratulations Serenity and Rose Quartz!

December 11, 2015

Each year, the design, fashion, and beauty industries await to hear the color chosen for Pantone Color of the Year. Usually one color is chosen, but this year Pantone decided to change things up by picking TWO colors (I know, crazy right?), so say congratulations to Serenity and Rose Quartz! Pantone chose these two colors because they “demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” The company also recognizes the blending of genders within both the fashion world and pop culture and feels that Serenity and Rose Quartz together reflect these cultural shifts.

Although these hues are typically used for baby showers, we have some creative ideas on how to incorporate them into all the events us event planners will be setting up throughout 2016.

Serenity and Rose quartz worked perfectly in flower arrangements we had at two of our events this year. The pastel color helps the bolder colors pop and ties together the whole table setting!

And what event would be complete without votives? Accent Decor offers these great looking votives that will spruce up any event.

Whether you’re using the colors together or separate, Rose Quartz and Serenity will give your table setting an classy, but calm vibe.

And if you don’t want the colors to be the focus of your table setting, they both work great as a pop of color with the place settings.

And if you happen to need something unique at your event? Add Rose Quartz pop rocks to drinks, make a Rose Quartz slushy, or pair a Rose Quartz colored drink with raspberries! They look amazing and taste even better.

We’re excited to see how these colors are used throughout all industries in the New Year!
