“Hello Boston”: Emirates Airline Product Presentations

April 1, 2014

Revere Boston Hello Boston

“Hello Boston” – the tagline around the Corinthian Events’ office for the past few months during our partnership with Emirates Airline.  As Emirates announced their daily nonstop service from Dubai to Boston we worked with them to produce and execute multiple events that introduced the Dubai-based airline to their new Boston market!  The launch kicked off with two Product Presentations held in early February at the Revere Hotel in Boston and the Townsend Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan.  Both events provided guests with an authentic brand experience and shared the “globalista” experience.

In Boston, after valeting their cars, guests were greeted by a red carpet and graphic entryway vinyl that covered the glass outside of Space 57 showing an Emirates plane soaring through the sky with the caption “Hello Boston”.  Once guests had checked in, they were treated to a traditional welcome consisting of warm scented towels, Arabic coffee and dates that had been hand carried from Dubai. In Space 57, thousands of long stem red roses created large statement pieces that were an impressive “wow” factor!

The main feature of the night was the First Class Suite showcased in Space 57.  That’s right, a fully-functional first class suite was flown to Boston to give guests the full Emirates Airline experience! Getting the large suite into the space was not an easy endeavor.  Weeks of coordination, an Emirates engineer, and even the removal of a few hotel doors (we needed every centimeter!) were all key components to making sure the suit was assembled and running by event time.  In the end, the First Class Private Suite was truly a showstopper! Guests loved interacting with the Emirates cabin crew and experiencing what being a “globalista” meant first hand.

After the Boston Product Presentation, our team went on the road to launch Emirates’ new connector route to Detroit.  A red carpet, friendly hostesses, LED podiums and red roses greeted guests upon their arrival at the elegant Townsend.  After checking in guests were treated to the same traditional welcome they received in Boston, complete with more dates from Dubai!  The cocktail reception gave guests the opportunity to perch at cocktail tables and enjoy  olives, nuts and cheese straws or relax on white soft seating arrangements.  A beautiful dessert table was the centerpiece in the room and featured many delectable treats for guests to sample.

These two events were just the beginning and before we knew it we were at Logan Airport awaiting the Inaugural Emirates Airline flight!  Check back tomorrow for a detailed recap of what came next!

  1. Hi Ahmed,

Thank you for reaching out! Currently Logan Airport does not have a private lounge for Emirates Airline’s first class and business passengers. Here is a list of the current airports that do feature an Emirates Lounge: http://www.emirates.com/us/english/flying/lounges/the_emirates_lounge.aspx. You may want to contact the airline directly to see if there is a partner lounge at Logan that could be used while traveling!
